Yup, McLovin all the way, he's got a lot of support among all his friends here in Canada.

Show 'em how we do it in Canada and fly in your parka and mittens Alvin!

This isn't easy to say since there are so many great pilots, but I'd think either Nick Maxwell or Tareq! Although Kyle Dahl is also very good and getting even better. I enjoy watching Nick Maxwell's hardcore 3D, but then you have Tareq whose heli style is not like anyone elses. Tareq flies very very crisp, and precise. I've never seen someone stop a heli like him then switch gears. I kinda hope Tareq will be the man.

When u don't feel like soaring through the air with a plane, beat it into submission w/ a heli!

whats tareqs set manoeuvres like.if i remember tareqs sets wasnt the best.but his freestyle was stunning.and dont you need a combination of both to be the top man in 3d
what you think.?
i think kyle dahl will be with them now but i see protential for him to take the lead if they arnt on top of the game.
duncans sets are good.so are dominics too...you guys have forgot eric weber was was leading through the masters untill his music round let ime down.but hes wicked

Definitely Matt Botos, I would not have said this before the Orlando fly in. He put in a flight with the N9 on fri. or sat. that was unreal. The dude has stepped up his game big time imo. The video does not ever do these flights justice I was at a lot of shows this year and this is the only flight that is stuck in my head.

Come on we all know it's henry Caldwell !!!
Most other pilots r cookie cutter so to speak.

I willIng to bet if we lined these boys up and said let do each others moves.. I really beleive there would be some spanking going on.
I'm not saying this because we r team mates or anything like that, I have spent a good deal of time flying with him, I can call stuff out I have never seen him do, like a anaconda, he did not only do it he rev it and did it with the skids in also.

To do that first time trying a could say this cat got skills, and he freaking 40 with reflexs of 16 year old... Crazy!!

lots of pilots can do a superb freestyles.but i think the sets are the major factor.
and there's lots of superb pilots that dont compete against international pilots
i dont think we can actually say who's the best untill we have all these pilots listed in the same competition, get your butts into the masters
dominic hagale is maybe one of the few competitor who has competed on the international schene with great results winning the masters twice and being in xfc.
what you think guys

I agree Craig. Masters in the Alps this year, very tempting but not in my budget this year unfortunately. H.C. definitely has skills and a unique flying stlye, but I'd think knowns would be hard on him as well. Hell that Reversing Rainbow Star at XFC tested everyone last year IMO.

yeah guys i agree
H.C is a stunning pilots.i respect h.c totally
And yes the pressure is really on at the higher level of competition but thats what make a competition pilots, being able to tunnel the pressure and still present a fantastic flight, which im sure these guys can do...but for example with curtis judging the masters this year it will be more accurate with the present judges..ie fastlad and the others it should be the best judging the masters has seen..
as for xfc,its fantastic but we need a pilot to win the masters and then win xfc to prove it wasnt just luck or a certain pilots crashed out to get a winner by default...and then possible win the a few more competitions to be crowned the top man in 3d
like curtis has done before
will he be replaced in time or is curtis still the best of the best,ok maybe hes not into 3d entering 3d competitions at the moment but maybe his track record wont be beaten...i dont know
do you ?

The criteria you just described is why I hope within the next couple years, the big comps adopt the same set of rules, be it F3N or what ever. I think that would be cool, plus all the other goodies that could go along with that, Nats, Worlds, etc.

Now Curtis, the dude has done it all!! 3DMasters, XFC, and FAI/F3C. Thats an all around champion right there, bar none.
