Hi i've been charging my 1500mah dx7 battery normally with a wall charger. I decided to try charging the battery with my triton 2 at .6 amps but for some reason after it finishes charging the pack it's not fully charged at all when I turn on the dx7. Will the triton not work?

The Triton should work. Make sure you tell it that you're charging a 1500 mah NiMh 8-cell pack.

The center pin of your charging jack is NEGATIVE, not positive. If you're wired backwards, I'd think your Triton would complain.

If you are using long, skinny leads, you may be false-peaking with the charger shutting down long before the batteries are full.

The radio still turns on so you haven't smoked the fuse inside the TX.

Dose the charger stop because it's done charging or it ran out of charging time? .6C is a pretty low rate to charge at.

The triton says its done charging an yes i'm using skinny leads. I also tried charging at 1 amp and same thing happens. I checked the triton and it doesn't give me the option to choose number of cells or mah's.

Triton 2 per original post. I read through the Triton 2 manual, there's not a lot of user programmable options, are there?

Try shorter, fatter charging leads.

Just go with the InfinaModels ION and only charge every couple months.

Dx7 With Ion Power Supply. Why use anything else.
