450SE V2, Stock motor and esc running 13t pinion, hyperion 2200mah 35c batteries, hs65's cyclics, gy401 with a 9650 tail servo, stock blades and no heli up grades.
Gone through and set end points with limit pot on gyro, have no trims for rudder on channel 4 or 5. TX end points @ 100%. Running 100% throttle curve in idle2.
When the heli is in a hover the tails wags (twitches back and forth) I have not set prio rates with end points at this time just trying to figure out the wag. Delay is at 0 and also have heli holding in normal mode and did the flicky, flicky.
The ball link on the servo is 8mm out from center and the end point on the gyro is at 105, Gain is all the way down to 15% before the wags goes kinda away. I have flipped the tail grips but have not weighted them yet.The wag is present witout piro the heli and also the tail drifts to nose right in heading hold slightly.I also have some slop in the tail but tightened it up with fuel tubing in the bell crank screw to see if it would help.

appreciate the help, guess I have to figure it out on my own but thats ok. Moved the ball link in on the servo arm and made carbon push rod. Reset gyro and gain now up to 45%, better than 15%. and holds great will fly later and see how it holds in flight. Thanks again

You might also want to check the tail drive gear. Sometimes they will get play in them and eventually let go resulting in loss of tail. I had the same issue as what you explained and fought with the radio and gyro settings and got it to the point of holding pretty good in a hover, until I started doing FF and went to do a stall turn and the tail went out and crashed. Heli survived pretty good since I was fast enough on the throttle hold and sort of auto'd in. Come to find out on post crash insp, the tail drive let loose. Now I JB Weld them before I fly them. Just my $.02.
