It should disengage when T/H is activated.

Most governors won't engage below a set throttle point, as long as your hold point is less than that you're fine.

The 9C has one of the easiest governor menus of any radio.

I belive on most govenors, it is inactive until the throttle reaches 30% then it becomes active and takes over, inplace of your throttle curves. You want to keep some form of throttle curve as a safety measure incase the govenor stops responding, ie throwing a magnet. Back to the question...since throttle hold is someplace aound 5% of throttle to keep the engine at idle or just above idle the govenor would turn off.

Who raised the ground since I took off?

that should read above 30% for the Align gov.

You can manipulate gov to stay on at lower % by lowering trim but 30% is the norm if set up is correct th curves should be 0 to 100 open to closed or as close as possible with 50% lining up notch on carb ,then you lower atvs on lower side so you can pull trim tab back to shut down I always try to have a 25% difference in atvs (high 100 low 75)now when you put trim back to middle motor should be at idle now calibrate gov.
TH (throttle hold)will be at 1%

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)
