Hi guys,
I'm a little late on the high voltage train, but since I'm buying new generation batteries it begs the question of why not move up to 8s or 10s.

I am currently flying 6s 5000's (have one TP 45C which is great) but I think it's time to push the 500 envelope a little more. I'm currently flying the Plettenberg 25-8 Heli Expert which is a great motor.

If you fly 8s or 10s or maybe even have done both, please let me know what you think---and if you'd recommend a pack size, motor, esc, pinion, and can comment on flight times that would be great. Not trying to make this too hard so any help would be great.

At 8s, I think I can keep the plettenberg...that's a plus but let me know.

And I think the 6s 45c 5000 might be the start of a 12s 600, but that might be too much.

I've done 8s on a 500 while some will disagree to me there was no real gain on 8s. If you are leaning towards 10s then make your 500 a 600 and go that route.
