Hello,

I bought a msr blade, with the radio included.

When I am hovering, the msr blade is turning, no very fast :
the tail go on left, the noze go on right.

then, I click several time on the trim, on the left button.
when I have reached the full position for the trim (the sound change), the heli is turning more slower, but it continue to turn.
it is anoying, because the turning is not flast, but too much to get some pleasure in the flights.

what can I do to increase : the sensibility of the gyro, the speed of the tail motor, the efficiency of the tail blade, a tuning of the electronic ????

any idea, please ?

thank you
Olivier

Hey Oli,
Make sure that you are letting the heli sit completely still immediately after plugging in the battery until the LED becomes solid blue.

You can also try to center all the trims on the radio, and rebind the heli and see if that helps.

If the heli is turning right, you are getting too much thrust from the tail, so if the above doent help, you can twist some pitch out of the tailblades, but that shouldnt really be the problem.

Hello,

sorry to ask it, but I am not native English speaking.

"rebind", does it mean I have to redo all the tunes of the swatch plate and links ?

thank you for your time.

Binding:
Set all the trims on hte radio back to center then:

The following steps outline the binding process:
• Make sure the flight battery is disconnected from the 5-in-1 unit and the transmitter is turned off.
• Plug the flight battery into the 5-in-1 unit. After 5 seconds the LED on the 5-in1 unit will begin flashing.
• After verifying the LED is flashing on the receiver/5-in-1, PUSH directly down on the left-hand stick while switching the transmitter on (you will feel a ‘click’ when you push in on the end of the stick). You are actually pushing IN on the stick, not just down.
• After approximately 5-10 seconds the receiver/5-in-1 should be bound to the transmitter and you should now have full control and function.

If it continues, it is possible that your gyro on your 5-1 board may be bad. I was at the hobby store the other day with a similar problem and that one turned out to be a bad gyro.

I cross finger to have a good gyro |

if it is bad gyro, I it will be a long fight to have it changed by my dealer,
because when I see that my dealer simply don't have send me any answer (at least : "sorry, I don't why it doesn't work properly, but I can change you heli if you want, just send it back etc...."
to my questions about this problem....

thank you for your help to all, I will test it in one hour...

Good luck with that. I personally have been having multiple problems with the 5-1 boards. Recent problems include not wanting to bind on one board and power keeps cutting out on another one.

hello,

I tried, and it did not fixed my problem.

I am afraid that my heli have a trouble, probably the 5 / 1 module, but also, we can't be sure that the tail motor have no problem.

I enjoy flying it big time. It is a blast to fly and you can get wild with it. Only real problem seems to be the 5-1 board doesn't seem to be the most reliable.

Sorry to hear that you have problem that you can't fix. They are really
fun, but as I have said, the 5-1 board can be a problem.

Hello,

I have foudn a solution, that I have to confirm later (I wxant to reproduce it several time before saying it works, and also, this solution is not very cool) :

1) the binding have to be done with all the trims = neutral.
2) I switch on the radio. all the trim = neutral.
3) I click on the right stick, the radio enter in "soft" mode.
trims = neutral.
4) I switch on the helicopter. I wait for 5 second or more, before moving it.
5) I made a short hover. 1 or 2 second, it doen't matter I think.
6) I click on the right stick, the radio go back in normal mode. trims = neutral.
7) I enter in hover, and trim the helicopter. with only 2 or 3 or 4 trim click, the heli is stable.

later, during the flight, I have to modify a little the trim, when I am around the half of the during flight.

it can be a solution, BUT the process is :
not normal
quite anoying to do, because I have to do this EVERY time I switch off / on the radio and the heli, so each time I make a fly !

but it isd a step in solving my problems....

You shouldn't have to go thru all that trouble just to fly. I have a MCX which uses the same board and have no issues redoing the bind on it.
