I like the tray transmitters. I have never had one like that the $3000 Futaba FX-20, but they seem like they would help you to be a really precise pilot. I think they would be more for things like FAI competitions rather than for 3D flying.

The "brain" behind the Whoppi is well known helicopter-designer Gerd Guzicki from

minicopter http://www.minicopter.de/ (designer of the Joker Helicopters).

The Whoppi will be sold by http://www.aero-naut.de

There will be an electric version coming, as well

Nice catch Here's a highlight if it's difficult to see. Anyone know if they had made any changes to the heli besides direct links to the grips?

The FBL SDX is likely one with which Dominik has been experimenting. It probably has Ruedi's e-conversion in it as well.

Hi Ben,

Has he been experimenting with a FBL D3 as well? the SDX rotor head in the pic looks like he's just pulled out the flybar carrier from the standard head, is that right? if so the conversion wouldn't be too hard I would think, interesting!

That Whoppi is goofy as heck, can't imagine that being a big seller?
