Nice helis but what's the new on the Lipo's world ?
they still have high prices and 5 min of flight is not enough for the 3D people..
It looks the printers market, printers = low price.. ink = high price.
Hope one day everybody can fly all day with the same Lipo without smoke..

well , let see Mioca, I have a 20 year old Logo 30 which is a 700 size heli. it used 20 years ago 30 to 32 1700 ma Nicd C cell batteries, flight time was 5 1/2 to 7 mins. back then it was geared for around 1600 max. 3D was out of the question, maybe a roll and hover upside down was it. Now, 1700 has gone up to 8000s or tad bigger, so with that same heli, I could fly it 20 to 25 min with the same headspeed and maybe do mild 3D because of a 1 lb weight loss compared to the 32 nicds, HS is the gas hog of batteries. does everyone need 2000 HS or like BW with an Ion or Bert flying a trex electric 700 with 2400 on the head to get the action they really dont need for 3 1/2 to 4 min worth it, NO! sales pitch is all.

Damn! It is nice to see that Mikado is going to offer the 600 in a 690mm SE version but, I really wanna see this Logo 700.

And what's this nitro governor and telemetry for vbar 4.0? Is this going to require new hardware? Or will I be able to download upgrades to my existing vbar units?

Hmmmm .....

Not that everything is about asthetics but am I the only on that thinks the new DX8, DX10, and Futaba radios in this thread are the UGLIEST most Atari 2600 looking "controllers" I have ever seen. Are they trying to make these things into TV trays or transmitters?

You don't understand because you haven't used one for a extended period. And no they are not back breaking. Graupner used to have the foldaway arms at the back of the TX's onto which your neck-strap would clip. It was great as it completely freed up the radio, compared the ones used over here and in the US, where the neck-strap attaches smack in the middle of the radio, obscuring your view.

My old Robbe TX was like the Futaba one shown and I loved it. Now I use Jr Apex/10S/DSX9.....all have their own advantages/disadvantages.
None is really better then the other but rather a matter of personal preference.
But try to use a European model for a while 1st before outright dismissing it.
