I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

building spare helicopter parts
Yes I also build my booms out of thin walled aircraft aluninum. It is much tougher than carbon fiber or plastic. You can buy it in different sizes. Some times you have to put shims on or around it. I also build tail fins out of polycarbonate sheet.I bought a sheet 3 feet by one and one half foot for ten dollars. It makes quite a few fins.If it is too thin a the center where it attaches to the tube glue another piece of plastic on it and shape it with a dremel.I have saved a lot of money this way.

Sorry the belts we use are Gates. The one that I use for the 680 blades is a Gates Powergrip # 770XL025.
The tail boom is 27 1/4 " between the main frame and the tail gear box with the belt adjusted.I am sure if you want to make one you can remove an old boom and measure what is inside and add it to my dimension.

thx for the link, I've been looking for a place like this, plus by the looks of things its just one postage charge for what ever you buy. unlike other places that will double the price of your order just to post it to you.
