with 45degree day wow, great day of flying, flew almost a gallon today, and with great success (thanks Ed W.), did like 15 autos, the highest about 30 feet(good for me). I fly a 90 and was getting like 11 min flights with 1800 head speed, granted, im not a 3der(yet) but fast forward flight and circuts, but I can live with that, engine felt great.

Always good to hear of a successful flight. If you really want the heart to pump faster, try autos from 100 ft.

Seriously though, great to hear you had a good time.

im working up to that, you have to do it in the wind or be moving correct? will an auto work from that height if in hover?

Good to see that flying is going on elsewhere in the country, here in Northwest Fl it's rain rain and more rain.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

Better than freezing cold temperatures and a little snow flurries eh? Enjoy it while you can.

Got a break in the rain today and got in a nice day of flying here too.
About 50deg, calm winds and a few clouds. Burned off a 1/2gal of fuel in my heli, smoked the motor in my 450 and learned that they don't auto worth a darn, and ran a few tanks thru my race plane...
WOOHOO!!! Looks like the sim tomorrow, after I help my friend set up his new 500.

I wish it was that warm around here. Right now, we are hovering around 30 degrees
