Hi All,

Just bought my first 10S battery but bit confused as to how its connected, the battery has two sets of leads at either end, I get 19V when metering diagonally form one side to the other

Any help would be appreciated

That is 2 - 5S packs,

You can either wire them in series, double the volts or parallel, double the mah.

What do you want?

Series - wire red to black tie off, the other red and black go into the plug

Parallel - black to black, red to red, put the plug on them.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

No that is a factory made 10s pack but due to the maximum lithium content shipping laws, it has been broken at the 5th and 6th cells. So for shipping concerns it is now 2 5s packs. Those bullets on the short leads are the break and all you have to do to use it is to connect them. Then it is a 10s pack as intended. You will see this on lots of big packs from 6s up.

Who made the pack? It looks like a TP pack by the way it is assembled and the balance connectors are of course TP. Yeah I would have thought that they would have written it on the pack or at least sent a note along with the pack.

There should have been a small yellow types note on the series connector usually taped on battery, odd if it was not

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
