I'm not for sure, but my guess is that it will not be compatible. You could move the wires around so the polarity is correct, but I'd be surprised if the info stream from it is readable by the multigov. Hopefully someone with direct experience can add here?

Yes
But it's foe measuring head temp and looks much easier to use than the standard carbsmart sensor and Multigovs DIY sensor, just need to know there's a way to make it work...
