On the main page of RunRyder, Scroll down and under the manufacturers section click on Ely-Q...
This is the section that "All" Ely-Q pilots post in!
It is helpful for questions and reading for your general information.

Here is the link but you can find it by scrolling down on the right side column as mentioned above.....

I have a few ElyQ heli's including a Competition I'm nearly done building. I like them.

I would suggest that you keep the Raptor and just fly it, a lot. burn fuel, try to wear it out. Raptors are great flying machines. If/when it's wrecked beyond a reasonably repairable state then pull the usable parts off and look for a replacement kit. At that point I would suggest looking at the ElyQ Ultimate. The kit is less expensive than the Competition, flys great and a lot of the parts are interchangeable with the Raptor.

My main reason for suggesting the Ultimate vs. the Competition is that for someone just starting off the crashes should be cheaper. The Competition is a CF framed heli and if you break the CF or aluminum parts it's much more expensive to repair/replace. This would be true in any brand heli, stick with plastic framed heli's until you are comfortable flying them without crashing too often.

Hi rapitrex
congratulations! Hope you will have much fun with the V50C.
Its an awsome heli.

But beware...it is much more agile than the Raptor ;-)

I use Spektrum, but if you are having a problem, go ahead and post it and lets see if we can get it worked out. Remember, that you can use your swash menu to reverse your servo direction as well as using the reverse menu. It gets confusing some times.

Looking at the rear of the machine, I use the right side for my Pitch Servo, then the Left side for my Aileron, and the rear for my Elevator. If you are having trouble designating your servos to your receiver, you can ask someone here, and I think we will get some answers for you.

Hope this helps

Thats the way it works....so everything is all right.
The swash goes down for positive and up for negative.
Dont worry about that.

depends on the engine ;-)
I would try 12 or 13+-.
That should be enough.
