Good job.

That was excellent. Both the heli pilot and shooter have some nice skill sets.

Sport hunting from an aircraft is a violation of both state and federal law. Hunt includes capture, trap, take or kill or the
attempt to capture, trap, take or kill. It is an offense for a person to pay, barter, or exchange anything of value to participate as
a gunner or observer. (NOTE: Anytime money or anything of value changes hands for the privilege or opportunity to hunt any
animal(s) from the aircraft, it will likely be considered to be sport hunting. This includes a scenario where a person at a
fundraiser "purchases" or "makes a donation to the cause" for the hunting opportunity, regardless of the recipient of the
donation or proceeds. The only exception would be that of a regularly paid employee of the involved AWM permitted
individual or company, or landowner, who is hunting depredating animals as part of duties prescribed by his employer.)

They showed on some nature show sometime ago.

Great video BUT I had to stop it halfway thru and go to the kitchen and cook me up some bacon...made the latter half that much sweeter!

I'm about 2 1/2 hours from there Maybe they will let me go!! I have seen that same setup here in Deep South Texas. They are also hired to roundup cattle, eliminate coyotes, cull deer and just about anything to make a buck!

What a hard days work, right!

A bad day of flying or fishin is better than a good day at work!

Zackly.

That sure was a massive wad o' wasted BLT's though -- a cryin' shame.

Are those feral ones as tasty as farm-raised? I'll bet they're even tastier.

It sure is a waste! Wild hog is great on the pit. It tastes a little gamier than domestic hogs. They are even better when they are grain fed like the ones in the video! Cooked one at the fly field 3 weeks ago.

From what I remember as a youth raising hogs to sell at county fair, a hog slaughtered on the run like that will taste like crap. If you want a hog to taste god I think its important to kill them clean before the adrenaline has time to flow. This could have been a bit of a wives tale, but I distinctly remember being told to kill quickly when it was time to slaughter.

Old Wive's Tales are well worth listening to, especially when it involves dinner.

The feral hog problem in Texas is NOT sport hunting. It is nuisance wildlife control. The hogs destroy millions in crops and have over-run quite a few places.
Rules for taking game are different for nuisance animal control.
