Just thought that I'd post some pics of the new Align 3G FL760 which I recieved today and fitted to my Trex 600N PRO.

I'm no flybarless expert as this is my first one but all seems to work fine, did have one small problem though, I could not get it to work with any BLS251, I tried 2, it will not stay in 760uS mode after setting it, just reverts back to 1520uS, everything else stays set so I guess it may be firmware related, no big deal however I just put a normal digital on the tail for now. All working great so I'm happy!

Other than the hiccup with the BLS251 the setup is an absolute breeze.

Nice,

I would secure that sensor cable, that much cable is enough to cause vibrations/issues. Secure it about an inch from the sensor somewhere.

in order for it to stay in the 760 mode you need to tap the rudder stick 3 times in the 760 direction before hiting accept.

Yup revomix is right, you have to move your rudder stick 3 times. This is also the new setup method on their new 780 gyro, an improved version over the 750.

760uS mode
Thanks for the setup tip on the 760uS mode, I have now done it and have the BLS251 working. I would say that is in the manual but the manual is in chinese

growmaster4;

No I don't have sjgd fs600. But I will be trying the axiom 720 and the Align 3G as soon as I get it. From what I understand the axiom is very similar to the fs600.
BTW you missed Mark's (grandRC) flight test of the Align 3G at M.I. last saturday.

How do you get the servo arms neutral in step 3 without sub trim?
Also the instructions dont mention positioning the swash driver. The pictures show it aligned with the main rotor head is this the case?

The instructions on the mechanical setup are confusing. Maybe I need a red bull

Regardless of swash driver design, you want the two swash balls that connect to the grips to be exactly centered on the grip balls.
So the swash balls should be exactly 90 degrees off of the axis of the main blades.
Make sense?

On my RJX head I connect the links from swash to grips, then I move the swash driver until the swash/grip link is exactly parallel with the main shaft (perfect vertical alignment). At this point the ball link on the swash is dead under the ball link on the grip.
