I have been flying the phoenix flight sim for over 200 hours now with about 50 crashes mainly when I first started with the sim about 1 1/2 months ago. lol i have been dealing with just hovering for the past month with my real heli raptor 50 titan. Yesterday and today I grew a pair and tried some real flying. I went trough 2 tanks of nitro yesterday and 2 tanks today. all around the sky inverted fwd backwards landing takeoff loops high speed circles figure 8's and everthing I could think of. Wow that was so much fun. Thank god for all of the practice with the sim. After the 2nd tank both days it was time to stop both times. I think the saying goes like this. When your butt cheeks get tired it's time to land. LOL so I did.

200 hours of Sim time in a month an a half. That come out to 4.4 hours a day, everyday. Dood do you have a life. LOL

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

Dude, that's HARSH. Ouch!

Don't worry bud, I hit the sim hard too when I first started. The time you spend pays off, as you've clearly witnessed. Congrats buddy.

If it can't hover, it ain't worth flying.

yes that time clearly does pay off. I have been able to fly the heck out of my raptor 50 titan and even flew my dads plan that I just got him for his b-day also today several times.

Good for you for sticking to it, that takes alot of patience to sit on a sim for hours on hours.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

I fly at least an hour or two every day on the sim to learn new moves, since i'm only able to fly on the weekend.

But 2 tanks of nitro? You mean 2 gallons?
Cause i go trough a gallon and a half a day (which is 12 tanks on the 700) on the weekend, so 2 tanks seems a bit low

Fly it like you stole it!!!

Yes I get comment from my buddies that this field is not my field and they would like to fly too

However if someone is not up in the air within a minute after the last one landed, you can be sure my heli will be upthere.

wow u got 12 tank for a gallo, quite suprising i can only have 8 tank on my 700 of every US gallon or maybe 8 1\2 not more then that, but 2 gallon per day u might be flying from 7am to 6pm.

In my flying field ppl use to fly 1 flight at 1 moment and if there is 2 aircraft it wont be fun since movement is restricted to 1 side, but if u fly when there is ppl flying ppl for sure not happy and talk about u, and give some space to others, in flying field ppl around are friends give space and time to otherd thou they are no one on air at a minute interval ask if u can fly or not dont be that shelfish, and it woukd condemn ur self either way, anyway it just an advice, and good to hear that u learn sucessfully using sim and apply it to reality it wasnt that easy as what a non heli flyer has thought out of their mind.... just IMHO

it was an awesome time just way tooooooo cold and windy today. But really thankful he was able stick it out for a short time to do some flying. The field is a really good size Much bigger the the heli side at ccrc. they have there field separated planes one side and heli's the other side looking at the sun. Cant wait till the weather is better to meet up with him or you to try flying there again.

Duckster, as I said a gallon and a half is 12 flights not a gallon.
Of course I give space to my buddies, this is just all firendly messing around with each other, I am not a selfish person

I'm usually flying from 8am til about 3-4 depends, at 8 in the morning there is nobody on our field so all I do is refuel and fly

Fly it like you stole it!!!
