GAS... less fume-mess and less expensive than $30/gal nitro fuel, no dangerous and damn expensive high output lipo batteries to mess with, and still has the cool engine sound.

If mechanics were not a problem then I'd fly nitro, but engines will be engines, therefore I like electric motors.

Electric Nitro gas

and why
I guess that would depend on what kind of flying I planned to do?

Sport & 3D (other then extreme 3D) - gasoline

Scale - turbine

FAI or Extreme 3D - Big A$$ electric.

Yeah, but we're not just talking nitro vs. electric. We're talking nitro vs. electric vs. gas vs. turbine. This is a totally new discussion.

Thats depending on what you wanna do with this heli:

Scale: only turbine, thats sounds quite close to reality

90 size heli: speed: electric; 3d: nitro because of flight duration and sound

50 size heli: only nitro because of the new 55 sized enigens, just tons of power.

For me, I would always buy a nitro heli, nitro just rocks!
