This is a test with my wife's new camera she got for X-mas, she won't let me use it, I might break it She went out grocery shopping so I put it on the railing and tried it out A few take-offs with the King 3.

I'm currently running a 13 tooth pinon with an Esky 3900 KV motor and a 1300 mAH MegaPower battery.

Looks like a good camera to me, Doug. Why don't you ask your wife to operate the camera during your flights? You know that Mrs. racin06 operates the camera during most of my flight videos. When my wife first began recording my flights, she didn't enjoy it...she just tolerated it. However, now that she has gotten very good with the camera, she enjoys it and many times when I'm on my way out the door to get in couple of quick flights, she asks if I would like her to come along and record my flights. I'll be honest, sometimes it does cost me, though...dinner, going to see a chick flick, going shopping (I usually find an excuse to also visit my LHS ), foot massage, back massage, etc...it's all good . Anyway, just a thought.

I guess that explains the sound, response and 2 minute flight times.

Have you tached that thing? Looks like it' be in the 3400 to 3500 range. I'm surprised you aren't fighting bad vibrations.

well I am a wuss, just learning to hover, the idle up switch still scares me. I was however hoping to hear that noise when I flip that switch But I think I have a long way to go before I am that confident. If I put my King on the ground that hard it would implode, im sure. lol

what is the stock pinon anyway? I need to buy a motor for mine as I sheared the shaft off cause I set it to tight when I replaced the main gear, as a result of my radio messing up. lol I love this hobby. xheli has the motor for 16 bucks, but I would like to upgrade if I have to buy new stuff. Any Ideas? Like I need an upgrade......

Seems like alot of work Actually my wife is a little on the "Evil" side, she hates heli's and won't come to the field I'd rather "sneak the camera"

Its an Olympus Digital camera FE 4000 12 megapixel, its really just a regular camera but has video capabilities.
response and 2 minute flight times.
Flight times are not two minutes, more like 5 or 6.
Better erase the video or youll be in big trouble.

The poor lil KING, gets no respect anymore I still think its a nice little backyard flyer when you can't make it to the "Big field". I guess its my job to keep the King alive on the Esky forum seeing that the Esky forum has become the "Every other heli except Esky forum"
Snuck in a "quickie flight" after cleaning up the snow, Oh Yeah, put on an 11 tooth pinion instead of the 13 tooth---- a little calmer to say the least. Amazing the difference two teeth make.

NASCAR fans in Massachusetts? Noooooooo Waaaaaaaaay!

Nice video, Doug and very good low funnels. I'm assuming that you recorded this video without your wife knowing, as in the previous video. I just thought of a good title for your videos...Dougie's Covert Flying Videos .
