I was bored sitting at home due to a screwed up knee. I work in construction so I cant work. I decided to finally make one of these. There was no way I was giving $30 min for one of these. Pretty self explanitory. Small piece of alluminum and two machine screws with two nuts on each for adjustment. Only thing I did you cant see is I put a small notch at the bottom of each screw so the fly bar does not slip out. Should work for most helicoters. Just need bigger screws. I hope this helps someone.

Nice idea, thanks for the tip. Heck, you should make some of these and sell them for 10 bucks a piece or so. They'd be under cost and effective and you could make a mint!

Nice work man!

The only thing I would do is to stick one of those level thingies on top of it which you can buy in home depot for super easy adjustment

Fly it like you stole it!!!

It's similar to this.

How accurate can be because you have to regulate the screws depending on the amount of height. And if not exactly the same length then flybar will not be leveled. However, seems that you have done a good job!

I used my calipers to check that everything on each side was the same.

I thought about the level bubble but then I couldnt think of why I would need it.

Yes I understood. But this presupposes that the flybar is straight and not even slightly bent.

I thought you might say that. I checked where the flybar exits the flybar cage and then check at the tips. Everything is the same. It really doesnt matter if the flybar is perfectly level. it is the see saw and realted stuff that needs to be level.

Yes, right. What kind of aluminum you used?

I am not sure the exact kind. A friend of mine has a welding shop and it was just sitting in the scrap pile. He said I could have it.
