I recently converted to 2.4Ghz from a 72Mhz 9C and let me just say WOW what a difference. I bought the Futaba 8FG and the response times are so much faster in my Align 600N that it took some getting used to. I'm trying to decide on what receiver to get for my Align 500 and was wondering if it is worth it to get another R6008HS 8-channel so that I could use the 2048 resolution muli-channel mode or will the R6106HFC 6-channel in 1024 resolution 7-channel mode be good enough. I would rather get the less expensive receiver but if the performance is much greater I would be willing to spend the extra money.

Especially in an eCCPM application, you're going to be much happier with 2048. The control system will just work better (a lot) with the increased resolution and speed of the 6008HS receiver. Spend the money; it's worth it.
