I need to tint my petrol so I can see what is in the tank when the heli is flying any suggestions what I can use guys?

I've also used the blue dye sold by this bunch,

You only need to buy a "Sample Size" bottle. The dye works well but it's not as visible as the HiViz from Model Technics - but it is different...

why dont you use oil that is coloured.

ive been using 2 stroke oil that is bright red, so turns the fuel red. i have in the past used blue oil.

use red oil then and put some of your oil in the washer with your clothes

i dont know if you lady wife will appreciate it, but she will get used to it.

What about those fuel additives which makes the exhaust smell like vanilla? Those add a little bit of color.

Tried food dye mixed ok then i left bottle to stand for a bit then the dye just sank to the bottom of the jug !

I don't think the food dye is a good idea. It is water based.
