I have set up lots of Vbars and I know that it is very important to have the links going from the head to the wash centered with the main shaft,I just recieved my compass FBL head and the balls do not go far enough out to get it in line with the shaft,I fixed it with some longer ball links, but why would compass ship like that?.

Maybe try asking this question in the flybarless section. There are some very experienced guys with barless setups there.

I'm wondering if possibly the fact that Compass drives the blade grips off of the swash driver arms (to get a lower mechanical ratio so as to increase servo travel, and resolution) has any effect on the delta? Can you post a picture of your barless head set-up?
