How's the T-Rex 250 for crash and fly? Is it as robust as some of the others?

I've crashed the Trex 250 upside down straight into some concrete outside my house. Not much broke. Very surprising.

take the headbutton off the 250, it's sole purpose in life is to break the main blade grips. I take them off all my heli's now. The 250 crash damage is different than other heli's. I've crashed mine hard twice now, haven't broken a blade yet. Did break the one-way both times, snapped the spindle and bent the tail boom. It's pretty durable but it will break, it's not an mSR. The headspeed is 4000+ so if you contact something it'll break. Performance is good. It's not comfortable flying in a basement. Think of it as a smaller Trex-450.

For house flying IMO I think it's either an mSR or the Walkera/Novus

Good flyin Dusty.
It's not me flying, it's Manuel Campos (buildem336) who is the only person so far to have inverted a 4G3 in such a small space, filmed it and and posted the vid on youtube - even thought they are so small, they do move fast and are far better in a bigger space.

Personally I fly my 4G3 outdoors. For indoors, unless you are at or above the same sort of stage as Manuel campos, I reckon an FP model is best - 4#3B/Novus FP for those who don't want a self-stabilising heli, or CB100/mSR for those who do.

THIS is me flying
