Git, use a thinner head shim and or a hotter Plug. You should be fine after that.
I had the same problem using the OutRage fuel. It seemed to have more oil so i had to richen it and then with the same plug it did not respond like it should have. I changed the pug to one hotter and it worked fine.
Still not as good as the CoolPower but very close...

Have you read and followed the tuning Guide from the LYNX web site?

http://www.lynxheli.com/index.php?o...=startdown&id=4

Check your throttle body is in the correct position before you adjust the Idle mixture.

Hi Stuart

I have read though this. Do you mean the throttle position being half way between the middle and closed positions? If so, yes.

That's good, What are your current needle settings?
Low..
Main..

How old is the engine?
What fuel are you running?
What Percentage Nitro?
Thickness of shim Pack?

I am running 30% Nitro and 0.4mm shim
My Main needle is at 1 & 1/2 + 3 clicks
My low speed needle is starting from all the way out.
3 Turns + 7/8 of a turn in.

This will give you and Idea if your is way off.
Make sure you start slight richer than the setting I gave you to start with ensure you check your temps as well.

If this is a very new engine that is not run in yet it is normal to have a little trouble with the idle mixture until it is run-in and the main mixture adjusted (leaned). Just increase your Idle RPM a little for the first 5 flights.

Is anyone else haveing issues with the 7100R sensor picking up the crank correctly?
My motor kinda makes a fluttering sound at hover rpm and I can see the throtle servo bounce around.
I can turn off the limiter and run on throtle curves and the motor runs great.
Tried a new sensor, which was the same

Hey Luca,

For weeks I was waiting on part number 40358 from fast-lads performance, they keep telling me they dont know when they are getting shipment from Novarossi. So I browsed Novarossi main website looking for dealers in UK and was reffered to FDL Racing in France,Since when did France become part of United Kingdom??
Browsing FDL Racing website showed that they do not stock spares for Novarossi.
I sent an email to Novarossi requesting if I could buy the Product#40358
directly or if they could help me out in finding the nearest dealer in stock but i DID NOT get any reply from Novarossi..this I think is very bad practice!
In the end after hours of looking at various website I found ReadyHeli.com in the US.They had the item in stock so i bought it
THANK YOU READYHELI.... NOT NOVAROSSI!!

What the hell is going on with Novarossi?I though you guys were a bunch of professionals is the recession hitting hard at Novarossi?

I know what you're going say "ah shadduppayourface"

Dear this is long and knowed history.
Novarossi produce parts and sale to distributors or dealers. dot dot.
This is the politics of Novarossi.
Now if the distributors / the shops / the dealers, don't want buy the Novarossi parts, Novarossi cannot use a gun and force the sale.

In USA thanks Lynx we have some one (me) that take care to have everithing in Stock for your support. But I repeat Novarossi cannot force people to buy the parts if they don't want.
Now thanks the global web sale is easy buy every were wath we need, than if you need some special look around and find wath you nee.
Normally in USA we have the best support and distribution.

You say thanks to Ready Heli... and not to Novarossi.....
Ok i explain you same basic: Ready Heli buy to Lynx , Lynx buy to Novarossi, is a line that if we follow and manage make every one happy. from the user to the dealer to Novarossi.

ABout bearing, I repeat one more time, the Novarossi bearing are custom size... we design as that becasue after 25 year of experience, show us that the std bearing material / dimension / tollerance / size are not the BEST in NITRO micro engine enviriomental.
Thanwe make our bearings, and you can find in almost all shop that carry Novarossi Heli engine.

any question welcome.
Luca

For NR parts like the bearing, go to planethobby.com. They specialize in car engines but carry and/or can get heli engine parts too. If you don't see what you need on the net, call Allen Worley at 901/755-1536.

Dear Luca
As already mentioned I emailed Novarossi asking for help in sourcing the part I Desperately need because i would like to get my 600n flying again,it had already been grounded for weeks waiting on the part#40358.
But I Did Not Get A Reply from novarossi...This Is Not Good Practise.!!
Still My Thanks Extends To ReadyHeli.com and NOT Novarossi for having the part in stock because(i've googled)no-one else had the item in stock.
Thank you Luca for the Basic education in Sales and Distribution.

Its good,USA have someone like you taking care of business for novarossi but what about in Europe(UK).
Its absurd that I have to buy my part in the US because Novarossi Italy Is Unwilling to Help Out.
I wonder if this is why Novarossi rex57 is not selling well in the UK?

Wassamaddayou? gottaanorespect! ah shadduppayourface!

i think the point was, thanks should go to lynxheli instead of readyheli, as it's lynx that stocks the parts for ANY U.S. retailer to order from. otherwise, without lynx the U.S. would be in the same boat as UK.

so, thanks LYNX for stocking all NOVA parts!

if it ain't broke, break it.

Lynx is a distributor only.
Dealers of lynx are listed in the dealer page.
lynx don't sale directly.

about 40358 many dealer in USA have in in stock.
I don't know about Europe.

For USA if someone need help, support, service that cannot get it true the dealers, can contact Lynx directly.

Hey Stuartmp74

That's good, What are your current needle settings?
Low..
Main..

I started from scratch and have gone by the manuals suggested settings. From there i keep trying to lean the low needle till i can get the thing to idle after disconnecting the glow starter.

How old is the engine? Probably got about 26 flights on it.
What fuel are you running? Cool power LV
What Percentage Nitro? 15%
Thickness of shim Pack? alu 0.3 and brass 0.1

Thanks bud! Also want to mention that i am 2000m above sea level.
