You said she was running for President.
Nope. I said she was not ready for the presidency. You can't seriously think that the VP can be just any old schmoe. As far as I'm concerned the vice needs to have EVERY qualification the president does, and it IS running for presidency.

VP is on a presidential ballot, right? As far as I'm concerned, it's the presidency.

Yes, educating stupid voters is what Fox is helping to do and I applaud these efforts.

Do you suppose Biden would be a good President?

LOL Biden would be as good as anything we've got right now.

I'll leave it at that.

Honestly, I don't see how Biden could "improve" on our foreign policy as of late. I think he would do a far worse job of kissing arse to enemies. Our enemies may actually come to realize that we have a pair. Would not be good.

You know Aaron. I am quickly coming to the choice that anything, I mean anything would be better than Obama.

But, thats just me.

Don't worry, man. 2010 will likely render him impotent.

A President can do little if there isn't a liberal House and Senate giving him power to do so.

Without a Democrat house and senate, he'd have no bills to sign, only bills to veto.

What's that leave him with? Well he's Commander In Chief, but then if you are unwilling to use your power as CINC then what good is it?

What else has he got? Oh he can appoint Supreme Court judges. But as long as none leave or die he wouldn't be able to do that.

Effectively, a 2010 Republican takeback of the House and Senate would render Obama impotent.

And one needs to hope that the health care bill doesn't damage us too much. Luckily, the current bill is so watered down it isn't nearly as dangerous/expensive as it was a few months ago.

But it'd still be costly and would hurt the industry and level of care. Overall it's bad for America. But people don't understand the ice cream/cow picture.

They want their ice cream, but are unaware of how much the cow can give. A smart politician talks about ice cream and cows. A smarter politician convinces everyone that there is free ice cream and lets them forget that a cow is needed.

So if Palin gets a teleprompter and starts perentending to be something that she isn't, She would be electable? LIke Obama?
And FYI, Clinton was way more liberal than Obama until he saw that the public wasn't. Then he became moderate.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

I think where she bought the farm was in interviews. Her speeches weren't bad.

Clinton may have been a democrat, but FISCALLY he was conservative. That is why the 90's weren't all that bad.

He screwed us instead on things like the Brady Bill and such, but financially he actually did well.

Can't say that about Obama. I'd take Clinton back over this spendy administration.

Clinton started out almost as badly as Obama, healthcare and all, but when he saw the polls on it he bailed out. He also inherited a robust economy from Reagan.
He did manage to not kill it completely during his term but most of the groundwork for it's destruction was laid.
Of course, as usual, most of the blame for that goes to congress.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

IMO, on the "MoveOn/Liberal" scale of things, Barry makes Slick Willie look like Ronaldus Magnus. Bring back the Eighties!!!

He did not bail out on that. After all, Hillary designed it. He had to live with her.

Bill did not kill it. Congress did. When the legislation got to Congress, it was so bad, they did not want to even look at it. It died there.

When Clinton's poll numbers tanked because of healthcare his advisors told him that he better lead from the center or he would be a one term Pres. for sure.
I saw an interview with Dick Morris (Clintons campaign manager) where he told that story. He said that Clinton was being lead to far off of the path by the far left just like Obama is now.

Yup, thats just about how it was. The difference now is Palosi & Reid. To get those 2 to go center before the next election would be impossible. They have to many loony lefty things to do.

Obama may go center to try for a 2nd term. But, it may very well be to late by then. The BS is exposed for all to see now. It won't be getting any better either once they get into the illegal immigrant crapola.
