I just bought an Align 600e an it is flying on a 10s. I have a hyperion duo II but it only gooes up to 6s. What chargers are you guys using for these bigger packs? give me your pros and cons on what to look for here. I had one buddy that is using the FMA direct 10S. From the looks of the 10s charges through the ballencing leads, at least that what it looks like to me.
I have quite a few electrics but have tried to keep away from the bigger battery's just for this reason. Now its time to ramp up the knowledge level again.
Thanks guys
Rich

I have the Thunder Power 1010C with the TP210 balancer and it really works well. Its a little pricey, and takes a little bit longer to charge, but it is gentle on your Lipos and balances to .005V. If you have a 10S, you've got some money invested. You need to take care of that investment with a good charger. You can scoop both of them up used on RR for about $180. Oh yeah, you can also update the firmware too.

I really love my FMA 10S Cell Pro chargers. I have two of them and my father has two of them. They are so easy to use. Basically plug it in and hit start. That's my vote

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I'm leaning to the 10s also, but just wanted to see if there was any thing else out there that I didn't know about.

One thing to consider as well is that single 10S packs are getting extremely hard to find nowadays. I used to fly single 10S sticks until last summer when I noticed the choices drying up. I have since switched over to 2x5S packs. TP is making them but so far you can only get them direct from TP.

For chargers I have a 1010/210 for single sticks,
Bantam BC8 and a 615i Duo III. The TP is great for single 10S packs. Real workhorses.

The 1010/210 will charge the 2/5s packs at the same time as well. Just charge them in series, works great.

The Bantam BC8DX will also do 2/5s pacs I am told, although, it is even a bit more $$'s than the TP set-up.
