I'm looking into getting either an mSR or a CB100. I think it really comes down to parts and availability. Where can I get good support for these Walkeras. Seems shipping from most places is extremely expensive. Any ideas? Or should I just get the mSR?

This is where I buy most of my Walkera stuff, shipping is $5 and takes 6 - 7 days to the U.K., I believe slightly longer to the U.S. He's known as Terence on the forums and you see him recommended on whatever one you look at

If you want a U.S. supplier, try wowhobbies.com, clubheli.com, or rchobbyhelicopter.com

do you know how much the shipping tends to be? I am a little wary because you have to order before knowing the shipping cost. He doesn't say if you can cancel if you don't like the charge.

Fly1High,
I can't recall exactly but the shipping isn't much more that all the other online stores.
You can place the order and he will send you an invoice.

Started out with coax helis is Jan 2008, bought an HBFP and learned to hover 2 months later. If you're interested, here's my youtube homepage which goes back to my co-ax days:

Thanks for all the info guys. I ended up with a CB100. I like it so far, but the battery charger that came with it seems to not be working. Has anyone else had any issues with the stock charger? Or did I just get a bad one?

Mine works OK.

Maybe your battery is getting tired.

What's it doing??

It isn't doing anything. I don't think my batteries would be "tired" since they are brand new. I just got this all yesterday. The charger doesn't seem to do anything. The little LED light doesn't illuminate, and even after about 1.5 hours of supposed charging the battery isn't even the slightest bit warm. And, of course, not charged.

All 6 of my stock Walkera chargers work no problem, though I have heard of the odd one failing. Wires on the lipos breaking inside the insulation though is a far more common occurrence.

I am getting a new one shipped for a warranty replacement. I hope it isn't the battery wires.

Thanks Dusty
