So who's had some experience with both these units, i'm a vtsab user but for the sake of playing around with something different would like to try out one or both of these units. Does the one have anything the other don't have. I see gyrobot advertises:
"The GyroBot is the only system using three acceleration sensors added to the 3 MEMS gyro sensors of highest quality. So it can recognize much more movements during flight and process them very fast"
ac-3x advertises a "three axis linear acceleration sensor" what's the diffs? Does vstabi not have any acceleration sensors?
Also can a difference be felt between for instance vbar and the others.

Lastly has anyone experience on reliability of these units?

Common sense may not be common after all

Acceleration sensors or Acclerometers are used for the Gyrobot 900 auto-level/beginner mode.

On the AC3x I think they are only used for increased hover stability.

VBar does not have Accelerometers, but sometimes less is more
(there is actually some issues having them enabled inflight in 3D flight as they might hinder more then help)

As for reliability someone else with more experience has to answer, have only heard good things about AC3x though.

Thanks for the explanation, would be interesting then to see how it compares in actual flight. Seems though not many people flying both for comparison. So mr mel how did you hold out from trying out the ac3x?

The AC-3X looks like a good unit, but they won't import them to the US, so I've never seen one in person.

Tested it a little when its was new and too many bugs, I've helped a few with it later though, so I know it works now, however, price wise it's too much IMHO since Vbar does the job.
