My logo 400 tail is wagging with the Hyperion DS20-GMD servo. I did not have an issue with it previously with the GY502 on my 90.

Do you guys have any recommendations on the VBar 4.0 tail settings or any issues when using this servo?

I have seen issues with that servo & Vbar on the forums,
But I also seen success with it.

9254 setting is the correct one.

Just a question, Logo 400 manual was wrong before, thrust bearings direction was reversed, causing wag, Smaller inner diameter of the thrust bearing should be on the outside, I suggest double-checking that first.

Ok, rebuilt the tail with the larger ID on the inside and the smaller ID on the outside.
But the wagging is still there.

Replaced with the 9253 and most of the wagging gone.

How is it possible to have the gyro gain set via the Tx? I realised that the stopping and holding power of the tail gyro is not as impressive as the DS760. Should bump up my gyro gain? I'm on 2550 HS now...

All settings are done in the V4 software and not on tx including gyro gain.

Make sure you got some right thrust (leading edge towards the boom) in the tail.Inn the "tail rotor" block use the "gyro gain" slider and start with 70% And then if you still not happy with the "stops" click under the doctors hat and play with the "acceleration" values.

I could never get the Hyperion DS20-GMD to stop wagging. I tried all different settings on my V-bar Logo 600. Finally found a solution though... BLS 251
At least that was my experience with it....good luck

The BLS is a bit off my reach for now. Will continue to play with the values and the vbar to get it right.

Hopefully the Vbar/9253 tail can be rock solid as though in the sim or comparable to the DS760/9253.
