Quick question - is anyone experiencing some very slight Tail hunting on the MSR. It happens during normal flight, does not affect the performance and is ever so slight and seems to just be an outcome of the design. But I could be wrong was wondering if anymore experiences the same thing.

If you mean it needs a click or three after a few minutes of flight, that's normal as the battery depletes and provides less juice to the tail motor.

If you mean it doesn't stay 100% locked in during forward, turning, or sideways flight, again, normal. this is NOT a HH gyro.

If it wags from side to side during all stages and styles of flight, maybe you moved it too much before the receiver locked in. if you are SURE you didn't move the heli AT ALL from plug-in until after the light went solid, there may be another issue. Please elaborate if so.

A soul in tension is learning to fly

I get hunting. If it can not center or make up it's mind, some thing is up. Look at the simple stuff first. Dirt, dust, hair, or binding (blade in too far, pressing on motor?) any thing keeping the tail rotor from doing it's job will confuse the gyro. Try a new tail rotor blade, they get do get funky. Also check the tail assembly wire/plug connection. One of my units had no relief or flex and jiggled lose, utill, I changed the wire rout things were unpredictable. E-flight makes a lot of units! Keep hunting. Chris

I thought of a couple more things. Is the 5in1 tight to the frame?
Main shaft bent or hurt. Chris
