nice flying and great sound. That thing sounds like a 12 cell electric 90! I didn't know you could fly one of those that hard.

I was Spektrum when Spektrum wasn't cool

I just dont understand it, I purchased one of those things thinking it would be great in the back field at home. Heck I couldn't even make out the words on the canopy it was so small. In the air it disappeared twice and then I suddenly heard it behind me as it was breaking off the branches of my Bradford Pair. You must have eyes like a eagle to see that thing 20/30 feet out. I spent the better part of an hour trying to find a screw i dropped on the carpet. You younger fresh eyes just kill me!!

Flying a Blade 400 hard
Not for long...Not even hard... The dang thang won't last more than a hundred easy flights or so...The ESC and servos will give up pretty soon...been there done that...A big waste of money unless you are a once or twice a month flier. By the time you upgrade all the electronics, you could have bought a Trex 450 pro super combo...

Great flying. I wish I could fly my 400 like that. Have you thought of upgrading your cyclic servos to Hitec 65mgs. Just abit of filing to fit.Best upgrade I have done . These servos centre and are very tough. The heli is cheap fun, and I get plenty of practice with my old fingers rebuilding it with cheap spares.

That's about the truth of it.

Upgrade as needed. For many it's easier on the wallet to upgrade in steps rather than shell out all at once for a decked out Rex...

tohot,

Awesome flying! You pretty much crush the credibility of those who claim you need a high-end heli to perform good 3D maneuvers. Then again, these naysayers probably consider your flying above as "light 3D" You also prove (and it's been proven many times over) that it's more about the skills of the pilot than the heli. It's people like you that keep our hobby fresh and interesting.

he he...but the naysayers keep the nubies upgrading and sales going...Some things never change...including "should have bought a rex"

excellent flying tohot!

I wonder why so little posts to this thread congratulating toohot for the great flying? Because the naysayers have been "owned", that's why .
