too many doeses of steriods take their toll on fighters, eats up the body from within. wonder how many fighters take the '' steriod road '' ?

Supposedly he will be back this spring to fight, but thats all spectulation. Nothing is definite. I cant stand Lesner, I hope he retires. I dont want anything bad to happen to him, I just dont think he belongs in the UFC. He's only there because he is so feakin big, he really has no skill compared to the other guys that are in the division. His walk around weight is 285lbs. Plain and simple, its hard to beat a monster, especially when one hit can knock you out.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I was told that Frank Mir said it was not Brock's punches that hurt him. It was Brock landing on him and breaking his ribs on the ground.

He (Lesner) beats up on other 'good' fighters so he must have something going on?

Well, when you consider the term "Pound for Pound" Meaning that if all other things were equal, as in "GSP is the best pound for pound fighter in MMA"... Then you would have to say lesnar is the WORST fighter in MMA, pound for pound that is.... I think ANY other fighter, if they were equal size, would destroy lesnar. Hell, Mir did it when he was much smaller. If Mir and lesnar were the same size, lesnar would have never gotten ranked high enough to fight Mir.

Hulley is right, he is a monster. Most guys would lose to a 600lb gorilla no matter how trained they are, and we are not going to claim it was the gorilla's SKILL that made the differance.....

Hope he lives, hope he doesn't come back unless he's off the juice.

Dakine, (I forget how to qoute here) He has some skill simply because he has trainers/coaches. What I meant was when your fighting someone of that size and weight, they are bound to get you. I've seen two of his fight broken down and his techniques were poor and sloppy. The fight for the belt was the same move over and over, place his weight on Mir, secure an arm and take shots to the head. It worked! But thats all he really did. This time it took him two rounds. He actually tired himself out.

Randy Couture is a bada$$! It would've been great to see him beat Brock. I personally think the UFC should have a heavy and super heavy weight class. 205lbs - 265lbs is to broad when all the other classes are within a 15lb range (I think). Even though Mir and Lesner would still be considered Super Heavy, Randy would be heavy. Couture has actually dropped down to light-heavy before.

matt was ok, kinda old news now though really,,, the next few UFCs dont look to exciting allot of washed up old goats till the young get repaired, I'll idle in paying up the PPV fees till the spider or gsp fight again.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

After seeing Matt Hughes on Ultimate Fighter and seeing what a whiner/sore loser he is, I can stand him. My wife loves him though. He was a great fighter for sure, give him props for that. I'm diggin the up and coming talent but you can definitly see where the expierence reigns supreme. I havent done a PPV in a while, havent see a full fight card that I though was worth the $60.

yeah ppv i havent done yet, i dont have the box, so i wait a day or two for after show on mma sites. yeah matt is over the hill, he reigned for the last 10 years, longer than most do, but over the hill now unless he fights someone else over the hill too. serra was older i think close fight, the pit bull ammada or something, took out matt with a knee bar to the head ( new term, knee bar ). he he. bam.

Problem with Carwin is that he always takes 20 shots to the head before he knocks out anyone. I don't think he can take more than a few of Brocks power punches.

BTW, I get to watch most of the PPV fights because several of us get together and split the cost. It's a lot easier to pay 10-15 bucks than it is full price for one person.

I would like to see kimbo fight lesner. I know neither belong in the UFC but it would be a good fight. With kimbos training he has had it would be great to see how lesner would be able to handle a bomb thrower like kimbo.
