I just picked up a stock 600ESP, stock motor and ESC. I mainly do sport flying with some mild 3D (flips, rolls, loops, etc). Are Turnigy 25C packs adequate for what I am looking for? My old school Trex 600E with the XL motor and stock ESC I used the 20C Thunderpower v2 packs and they never got warm with my style of flying, so thinking I should get the 25C Turnigys over the 30c Flightmax.

My turnigy 5000mah 6S pack 35C rating was just strong enough to handle flips, collective pumps adequately before I overdischarged it and ruined it for any 3D. I have recently ordered 40C zippy 5000 and hope they produce better. I would never go less than 35C but I am trying to do more 3D now and 6S is just not enough for me. My collective management isn't great and I tend to hoss the sticks around and personally need more power. Fast forward flight would be adequate I would think on 25C but would be concerned about the last minute or so getting weak on you during flips and loops. I see my biggest droppoff the last minute of my flight with flips and loops.

I may just pull the stock motor/esc and replace it with a CC Ice 100 and the Scorpion HK4025-890 motor.

Go for an 8S setup!! 6S for 600 is a joke.
