I guess the tried-and-true Dynatron wins out? Too bad. The Align starter was a nice idea.

No it wasn't. It was a way for Align to pull in fast cash with an inferior product while "USING" the reps. Very unfortunate. It's similar to the Maverikk geared POS that never worked out.

Dynaton, Finer Edge, Makita, and Robbe start shaft here. There is none better. Used it for several seasons and not a a single problem. A little heavy, but worth it.

I do like the Dynatron Finer Edge setup, it at least looks like a clean setup. I was leaning towards that but couldn't justify the cost, and didn't want some frankensteined mess with a bunch of lipos zip tied to it. I hate junky looking crap, it takes the fun out of it. I said screw it and used my drill for awhile, but then the Align came out. Had the Align never existed, the Finer Edge would be my choice.
