So if I get it here, in scale, length of blade is chosen 1st by getting the look desired balanced of course with the expected flight envelope and available power.

VS
3D where you choose the blades that make your heli perform the best with a given power system, looks dont matter.

Or Im guessing you could say I want to run X length blades because that length fits my scale look best. Now what power system do I need to make it fly "scale"

with my hawk, an xcell 60, i put a 90 in it because i knew it would be heavy(short a$$ nose) you cannot have too much power on a scale especially. the 91 handles it without any worries.
