HP DPS-600 is what we have used and that I have created a step by step document for. They are getting harder to find, aka a bit more expensive. But really easy to modify.

And for the newbies who have big batteries, and work at electrical supply houses.

This is the one with the documentation.

I am sure others will work but this is the one with the step by step on how to convert it. If your order from here be sure to call them to tell them you want this specific model. Sometimes they have to dig through their supply to find a specific model.

If you just want 12V you don't need to open it. You just need to jumper some pins on the outside to get it to turn on.

Pins 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 to be exact.

They are the same ones and they are becoming rare. They have been out of production for a while. Now when companies send end of life components to referb shops like this they are containing less of this model.

They just had a story on fox 17 news called, the drone invasion and how it affects your privacy. With them becoming so popular to people outside of the hobby and so easy for the below average idiot to get a quad and camera in the air I can't see it taking much longer for people to start doing stupid stuff. Heavy regulations aren't far behind and the sad part is I am sure there are idiots out there who will make the regs a necessity.

The indoor flying is at the charter school at the airport. Make sure you have very low expectations. You to fly for five minutes every half hour or so and you will be in a very small gym with 10 others or more. As to the when I'm not sure I won't be going this year.

The schedule for indoor flying at the 'West Michigan Aviation Academy' is 9AM - 1PM on the following dates:
12/6, (in 2015) 1/10, 1/31, 2/21, 3/7, 3/21, 4/18
$5 fee to fly.
Address: 5363 44th street SE, Grand Rapids (turn just before you get the the parking area, at the airport)

At the Woodland skating rink: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9AM - 1PM. $10 for the whole time, $5 to fly at lunch time (a few guys from my work do that).
