Hey guys, need a little help, I have put my 500. Back together which now has a beastx on it and as soon as I try to spool it up the Heli wants to spin out of control, I have gone through my beastx settings and everything seems to be set correctly, in menu f it says to turn nose of helicopter to make sure tail is going in the right direction and it appears to be, anyone have any suggestions ??

Sounds like the rudder gyro correction is backward. Point a rudder tail blade toward the noise. Then rotate heli. Tail blade should move opposite the nose direction.

Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

Did you put new tail blades on it? If so are they on correctly. You can have your tail blades on backwards and almost get the same effect.

They are new blades but they are turning upwards towards the main blades ( counter clockwise ) which I believe is right

John, if I move the nose of the Heli to the right the tail slider moves to the left , that is correct isn't it ??

Don't look at the slider, with the tail blade pointing straight up, push it forward to point at the nose. Then see which way the blade tip points as you move the heli.

Your gyro is reversed and your rudder control is more than likely reversed

Fun Fun Fun, don't ya hate it when it doesn't work like it should the first time! So easy to screw up and then when you get it figured out, (often with Steve's help) you don't do it again for a year or so and you have to relearn it all over again!

My 6 hv is ready for a few more flights, then it's time for all new bearings thru out, my pinion bearING and shafts has some play that I don't recall it having before, it has treated me well over the past few years so it deserves it

Was just looking at weather forecast for Saturday and its not looking so hot as far as wind is concerned, 10-15mph with gust up to 25mph, to much wind for a newbie like me anyways. How much wind are you guys comfortable flying in ?

Yeah , its definately my new favorite but I have to say I still think about possibly getting rid of the 500 and getting another 450 dominator just to have something smaller and cheaper to fix in a crash, we'll see but it is in the back of my head
