I wasn't that optimistic. I looked at the weather, and said screw it.

There's another huge batch of storms across the lake that will be here this afternoon if it holds together. Im supposed to go to Kalamazoo to a picnic for the Dr's at WMU school of medicine if they still have it so I think flying is out for me today. Saturday is iffy too.

Crap, I just remembered I forgot my power supply so I can't charge batteries in the office. No battery supply either since I drove my car today.

That line of storms might blow through by 3 or 4. I have an extra charger and electrons if it clears by 5 or so
And some spare nitro, oh that won't help though

Ok, guys I have a busted 300cfx if anyone wants to help me out this week to get her back in the air I would greatly appreciate it. I have most of the parts except i need 3 new swash servos (those cheap eflight micro ones, plastic) and blades, that's what I would have to buy and then I have all the other parts ready to go.

Lol,I need help with the feathering shaft put back together, and yes I will by new servos, they are magical little things. Its already stripped to what needs to be done to it, I'd say its at 75% completion and ready for the new stuff.

The servos are in that "new geometric" set up where they are hard to put back together and get right back into the frame, at least for me..

Tom has checked with the township and we will have to get a permit to build the shelter, when. The time comes we are going to need the help of everyone to get this completed, I am hoping that we can be completed by the end of July so stay tuned

I have three of the craptastic eflite servos if you want them cheap. I would HIGHLY suggest you get upgraded ones though. For 300x there is the KST DS113MG which have metal gears but plastic case to keep the weight down.

If you think you might reuse in the future (which I always think I will, but never end up doing) then the KST DS215MG would be the way to go. A bit heavy for the 300x. But perfect for a 450+ sized machine.

Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

Yeah I could use the craptastic ones! For now , I just need the screws I think to connect the main gear to the tail gear (those little gear that sits on top)
