My understanding at least from the Boca bearing site is that the bearings come pre greased with the correct amount. If you want the bearings without grease you have to specify that when you order. I assume that is the case with most shielded and sealed bearings.

I'm not having any luck getting this DSM2 module to work. I don't know if there is some voodoo that has to be done with trainer settings or what. Two times I was able to get the binding light on the 130X board go solid blue which I think means it is bound, but then immediately I get a series of green and red lights and then a solid red. If I cant get this to work I'm keeping my DX8.

Here is everything you ever wanted to know about greasing RC heli bearings.

http://peteshobbies.com/prcp/Greaser/grindex.htm

When I got my grease tool I went to pete's house and one thing I can tell you is he really did his research on bearings. Basically he says the factory grease is a very light grease suitable for all applications and is slung out in the first few seconds of RC use. I stuff all my bearings with grease every year and I can tell you the excess has no trouble getting out.

On the DSM module I asked the guy if it would work on a 7C and he thought so. He also offered a full refund and return shipping if it didn't work. I would like to see this thing work out so I can use the BNF and not the RTF micros.

Is the 130X DSM2 or DSMX? I just rebound it with my DX8 and I believe the DX8 screen said "binding DSMX". I have the module set to DSM2 I suppose I can try DSMX, although I thought anything that could run DSMX also runs DSM2.

Never seen anyone land a 90 sized nitro inverted and NOT break a darn thing. The MAN is magic, awesome flying and thanks to the tips.

Also, another inverted flame out 2 feet off the ground and another save. Nothing broke, nothing lost, perfect dead stick landing.

Did he ever figure out why it was dying or did he just keep trying to fly inverted?

Yes, it was Tom, got it into tall grass and it sucked him in.
I have been having engine issues this year, burned up a new OS55 by running it too rich too soon.
As far as making it out to Dorr, i will have to do that before it gets too cold. The Cedar field is on my way home from work, and its only 5 miles from my house when ever I want to go, so I am not scared. Plus out schedule has been pretty busy, so sorry to say that Saturdays have been out of the question. And Wednesdays have been hit and miss. You are all more than welcome to do a float fly with me next Wednesday.

An engine will not fail from running it too rich John, maybe you leaned it out and pulled a plug and destroyed it.
You seem to find time to go out flying with Tom on the weekends but I guess the old crew isn't good enough for ya or did Sonny run you off ?
