Strange, every radio I have had since back with the 10X (and maybe before but I don't remember) I have had the throttle hold switch in the same position (back left). My 10x, 12X, DX8, DX18, and Futaba 8FG all in the same place. It definitely has saved me in the muscle memory phase.

How come the bailout was so slow? Is it not set up on the speed controller?

Last call for MCPX BL upgrades from China. Going to order parts tomorrow. Looking at getting esc's and motors to convert v1 / v2 mcpx to brushless. Anyone in?

Received mcpx today, that dog won't hunt ,5seconds= 8 bucks!
I thought it was bind and fly? I put the settings from the book into the radio, then bound it and tried to hover it but , Bang Bam Ouwe!!! Wtf is the trick to these things??

Don't worry, I ordered the motors and esc's to convert your old one anyway.

Did steve forget to tell you he's running like 50% expo, turned pitch down by 25% and knocked the throttle down too? ;-)

Yeah, I don't think he mentioned how much expo, but said he had a bunch in it. I think the book says 30% so I thought that was enough.

I just checked 40 percent expo and bullet blades , I also put more o rings on the swash and blade grips

The blades are 0 at center stick , I am not sure if I turned them in it out to get that.

I put the stock tail blade grips and tail blades on the Protos and it flies fine now. I had a feeling those aftermarket blades were too big.

I started setting up the Vibe tonight, man I almost forgot how to setup a flybarred heli. Had to look in the manual to see what type of swash to program. Then the damn battery in the radio died. So I'm done for tonight.

On my V1 I did the 3 turns in and was finally able to do inverted. Made a huge difference.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.
