I was approached by an AMA board member to do a heli event at WMRAF on Aug 17 2013, this is an event for our disabled veterans, the plans are still being put together but I would like all of your support, the idea is to generate funds for the vets and of course to get together and have a great day of flying, food and fun. Its been a long time since we have had a club picnic or a FF so it will be good for the club as well! Let me know if you will be attending and could help out

I can help out with anything that doesn't require two arms to function.

And I can always impress with my crazy hovering skills.

I can use the motorcycle ramp to bring the beast of a grill and help with the cooking would probably be my best option for helping. Used to cook for 200 plus years ago.

Traverse City may be doing and event the same day. I have been told that AMA has been asking alot of clubs to do a fun fly event and to get the public and if possible soldiers involved.

your probably correct on that John, which is kinda screwed up but the idea is to have all the fields active on that day , and to have the public awareness as well

Once again why I like getting things from helidirect.

My dumba$$ just submitted an order for some 300x parts and some flashy 700 tail blades, but forgot to enter the promo code until about 1.5 seconds after I hit the final submit.

Filled out a trouble ticket, and within minutes received a refund. So far...knock on the desk...the service I've gotten from whoever runs this place has been great. Got a ball link tool that didn't work right, they sent a new one out no hassle of sending the bad one back. Responded mighty fast when I enquired about Align servo grommets and pointed me to the Savox equivalents. And when I got the KDE tail and it had bad 3mm washers (yes just bad punched washers), they got me in contact with KDE quickly.

Plus as long as I choose FedEx Ground I have always gotten things sent the same business day I order them and get them in two days. Maybe I should try to get sponsored by them for all this advertising ;-)

And of course now I just sent them another message. I think I better just go to bed. I reviewed the order, forgot the promo code, and now remembered I also forgot to order battery straps to make another stick for the 700.

We'll see what they say. Good luck with that at experience. I know they are mi based but last two orders took four days or more from them.

Just got another response while typing this. Two sets of battery staps are being added.
