I let the day go to waste as well. Got my spring garage cleaning done in the morning. Picked up my new car in the afternoon and cut down trees and burned brush until dark. I think I have about one more day of heavy brush clearing and that project is done. Then I can get started on the important stuff. ie flying

That stuff makes great brush starting source. Sprinkle some one watch the pretty colors. Depending on brand you may get green or pretty purple.

Didn't let it go to waist. I got up, ate, went to costco and bought a giant plastic shed.

Used one arm and my wife to open the boxes while in the truck to unload the parts into the garage.

Napped

Flashed an AR7200x

Watched movie

Went to bed.

Brian with the Whippy, you might want to check helidirect. Looks like they are getting out of the MA business and have spares at 50% off.

Wow Jon, sounds like a highly productive day. If you started hanging out at McDonalds every morning for a few hours nursing one cup of coffee you'd have this retirement thing down.

Thanks for the info.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

I've had nitros for 25 years. They just turn propellers instead of rotors.

I was able to get out to Ionia most of the day on Saturday. It always surprises me how much I forget and how long it takes to get comfortable with what I was doing the end of last year.

I also learned the hard way that ESCs don't work well with a missed zero point in a throttle curve, while in the air anyway. My 5 second soft start was about 2 seconds too long, at least from 20ft. Now a nito on the other hand would have been able to fly right out of it at full power.

I flew 2 batteries in the 550 an hour ago trying to get it dialed in for the way I like to fly. Does that count?

And I flew for flights on the 550. I wanted to fly the 700 but my starter was not strong enough to turn it over. Maybe you guys could tell me how to build the starter strong enough to turn it over. I think I burnt my now.

Lol even Brian throws a dig every now and then !
At the rate we all are going we will be knocking the cobwebs off at Detoit ! I flew the mcpx today , first heli in awhile and a crap load faster than a quadcopter! This fpv stuff is fun but hard to let loose and believe what you see happening in the camera, it makes it easy to tell which way the camera is pointed though.

None for me. After clearing brush and cutting trees all day I was too tired to attempt. Crap, I'm starting to sound like Sonny.
