Ouch! Looks like a piece of the wristpin clip let go. Total destruction. Sending it in for replacment for sure. Just needed to take it apart and look at it to make sure it wasnt my fault.

Hello, is this Hobby Services?
That's why Aaron needed his camera, cause he knew he was going to smoke his new motor today.

Ouch! Looks like that engine is headed for the scrap yard.

On a better note... 4 flights on the 700. I could learn to like 90's.

Yikes sorry to see that Aaron. That sucks. Hope that is not going to be a common problem with the motors.

Hey Aaron, Sorry to hear about your motor. I have seen other threads on here about the same thing. Guys were pissed beacuased the parts for the motor were on back order with no promise repair date. I hope they got that straightened out before you send your in. Looks like I will stick to the TT.53 until the problem is found with the new OS.55

Weather was looking crappy so I did not charge anything. Went flying foamies at the gym last night did not get home until 11PM. Wife was complaining about flying to much. Besides it was your turn, Jon, to put on the heli show and you let us down.

I am sure it isnt a "problem" with the 55HZ at all. Just a rare failure that happened is all. There is no real reports of this problem on any engine. Just isolated incidents is all.
