Steve, aren't you the one that told me you only live once so just go for it?

The wife wants to get me something for my 50th B-day so I figured why not another heli? I won't have it until mid March.

It should be an ice HV, which means u have to use either a separate bec or a separate pack for electronics.

I'm partial to CC stuff. I'm going to be running a CC BEC Pro on the 700 with the 120HV2. Didn't the kit come with an align BEC? Its only 6 amps but should be fine. I'm a CC fan boy so, and since I already have the BEC Pro on the 550 figured I would keep everything consistent.

You could use a LIFE pack instead if you want, and cut out the BEC but I figure I already have two giant batteries available, I don't want to hassle with a third.

Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

The little wire is a linear voltage regulator to dumb down the voltage to 5.1 volts for tail servos that can't do 6.0. The 700 should have come with a DS650 which can handle 6.0 just fine so it should not be needed.

Now you either need a 2S lipo to run with the align BEC or a staight LIFE pack.

Or get a CC BEC Pro and run it off one of the main flight packs.
