Steve, or anyone that can do more than hover, looking for some recommendations for tail blades. I'm going to switch the gearing on the 550 so I can use 85mm tail blades instead of 90mm. Looks there are plenty of options out there at this length instead of 90. Looking for decent non-carbons so if I touch the tail I have half a chance of only needing to replace TT gears instead of TT gears and tail blades.Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

Yea Glenn, I thought about that too that's why I started back peddeling.

Jon, I know I don't fall into the "can do more than hover" catagory but I think KBDD tail blades are the tail blade of choice for the non-CF user.

The dang farmer this year had an anti aircraft gun and I was hit by one. I had to land from over 300' away not to bad of a parking job I think. If you want to know more you have to come to one of my shows.

Wow Tom. Nice pic!!!

madmaxed, i would suggest you stick with 90mm tail blades and change your tail fin to a trex 700 fin instead. The 700 fin is slightly longer then stock as well as thicker. It keeps the fin from shaking (common problem with stock fin) and it also keeps the tail from hitting.

Good Lord, don't haul your toddlers around in the back seat anymore!!!
That's why heli's are just plain safer than planes! You can always hit throttle hold before you hit someone! I've come close so I know!
I had to throw that in before Chris did!!!LOL!

Pretty cool Steve. You'll be just like Lon posting vids pretty soon. Too bad the heli gets so small. Would be cool if they ever made an auto zoom feature. Nice though.Carpe Diem!!!
