It was a great day yesterday, especially later in the day when the wind let up some. It would be nice if that VP fuel works good in the long run and we can get it for same or less than the Wildcat. Steve you should try and work out a sponsership deal with the guy.

Now I got to find the time to put the new bird together.

Hey GoFast we have a club called WMRAF, we fly at a field near Dorr about 25 minutes from Hudsonville. Google the club name and get some info, the web page needs some updating but the field is on it. You might know one of our old friend who is out in Az. JC Zankle? He fly's for Gaui.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

Go Fast, Tuesday is plank night and Wednesday is heli night. Saturday seems to be heli only but I don't think it is official just has evolved into that. Sunday seems to be mostly planks but you will find helis out there on Sunday as well. I've gone out on a few Monday's and Friday's and have had the field to myself.

Here is the website for a map to the field

http://www.wmraf.org/

The best time to go to see other helicopter pilots is Wed 5-8 and Sat 12-5. You will find an expert in almost every aspect of the hobby. If you have a specific problem or question just post it here and someone will have an answer. Tom and Steve are the official instructors and I have not seen a machine they have not been able to fix and get flying. Yesterday happened to be a special event in Lansing. Just keep looking here for other times than Wed and Sat.

Jay, that's the one I am flying. But Aaron and Paul have a new Hatori pipe they are flying, its a SAB-1 but hard to find in stock, its expensive. But that evo pipe seems to work pretty well.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

So who had the energy to go fly today?
I know I'm pretty pooped out. I slept 12 hours and my wife wanted to go for a walk, boy I could feel it in the legs!

I sure would have like to but the damn elves didnt mow my grass last night so I had to do it myself today. Got some other chores out of the way and of course started working on the new heli. Got my servos, motor, pipe and some other stuff ordered.

The elves took care of my grass for me yesterday while I was at the FF. That left me free to convert the Blade 400 to FBL today. Just need to mount it and do final calibration before Wednesday. Then let the tip overs begin.Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.

I got one in with the 130x, but since anything under a 500 doesn't count as a heli, I guess I had none.Remember...runways are for models and wings are for fairies.
