Damned Lon, I guess you have to count yourself lucky in that aspect, the highway thing could have been disastrous! I know what you mean about the pain from all the walking, after a while I had to drive my van down there! I am so sore today its not funny, but I have no regrets about going, it was awesome, even with all the fricking wind! We could have done with out so much of that for sure.

Yeah Glenn, like Brain said, take it high, its not so hard, in fact pretty easy, but it would be better to practice on the sim, but I know, you need a new cord! Just keep practicing forward flips and then let it sit a little longer inverted adding time to it as you go. You can do it!!

What do you mean too windy! Its 20mph less than it was all weekend! Besides, you got fbl so you don't have to worry about wind! Just put some whip cream on a breast and your good to go!

At Susie's daughters house it was just like Detroit. And I was going inverted with the 450 not 550.

Crap was going to install the BEC and noticed its programmable from 4.8v to 12.5 and I don't have a link to program it. Called castle they say default is 5.1v to the reciever. Is that ok for my 550 with align ds610 and ds620 servos?

It also has 2 plugs to the reciever. Does it matter which open spots I use?

Default at 5.1 is fine with anything, although I would triple check it with a volt meter Not knowing the receiver, can't answer that

You want 6.0V with the Align servos..I run a Align 2-1 which is 5.7V and they work awesome. If you run them at 5.1V,they will work fine like rocket_33 said...

Yeah Lon you have an open invitation to come over and fly ! Sorry to hear about the car and to answer the other question No I bought the kit from Steve at Experence I tried to win the 7HV but no luck.
Since my heli brothers Chris and Sonny both won a 2650 battery and handed them to me it was the last push I needed to complete the buy ! I was already thinking about it but that was the final push LOL

Still in one piece though I thought with a BEC the ESC would not get hot and it's still pretty warm
