Well I dont think I am going to buy a drum just to try it, But if you want to I will get some from you and try it for you. Why are you not out flying and improving your skills? I am sitting up in Newaygo at Big Air Motocross track waiting for a part from Grand Rapids, I think I sould start hauling a heli around for days like these.

Just like "caution" and "Big Air Motorcross Track" don't mix...

I knew the guy that built that track... He wasn't cautious either...

This is coming from a guy who broke both his arms in half (same time) paving the way for the "Gen-Xers" to make millions. Hahaha. I have the scars and none of the cash to prove it.

I was out flying till just after 6 today!! was fun but still something up with the frenzy! the tail shakes a little with collective input! Checked about everything i can think of, anyone have any suggestions?
I could still be the revlock I don't know. Its not searching like it was, but something isn't right! I may try to offset the linkage like Colin Mills said to do and see if that takes care of it.
Yep Jeff you should definitely haul your Raptor around when you have to wait for parts. Which is quite a bit I can imagine! At least once a week! That DS 30 I could buy by the case but have to get two case minimum to try out! I am interested in trying it sometime. But I've not had a problem with WildCat so its hard to check it out. On the other hand if I had a 90, I'd be checking it out a whole lot faster!!

Flew the first flight of the night on Velo SR. Good flight, she flew good, then when I went up to auto down I screwed up when I fliped out a little bit and landed a little hard in the field. Bye bye rear tail gears. Since I kinda anticipated tearing something up I brought Velo HZ with me (new one). (I havent flown it yet because I am waiting for a new part for the head.) So I took the head off Velo SR and put it on Velo HZ and test flew it. Kinda liking having 2 of the same heli. Works out kinda nice when you need parts or something like that. Anyways Velo HZ flew great. Need to tach the head and retune the engine but otherwise it flew just like the other one (imagine that, LOL), maybe just a little "tighter". Been doing a lot of screwing around so far this week it seems, but should have the Velo HZ ready to rock Thursday so I will see if I cant burn a few gallons thru both this weekend.

BTW Kenny, I almost forgot to tell yah, I did the famous "blade braker" last night with Velo SR. It was hilarious but not nearly as good as with a 700. I am gonna try it with the Rave tommorow. LOL

Awesome on the Velo, did you put the 55 in the new one? If so how does it compare to the old Velo power wise??
LOL I have Jc praticing the Blade Braker! He still has a way to go but he is getting it Nothing like throwing that in to get some attention at the field! He was also doing some what I call terminal velocity dives and stopping it on the deck. One was so violent it killed the engine for like 1 second. It was way to cool!

We will have to see him doing that at the Ionia funfly. Are you guys going to Wheeler at the end of the month?
