After you all left I did an inverted flyby. First one ever. Did it with the 450. I did so many firsts with the 450 today. I am just so glad I learned instead of came home to repair a heli.
It was just too much fun today!
Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

I need someones help. I just had my second crash due to a mechanical failure on my heli. This time the tail went out of control and I did my best to auto it down but still broke landing gear, skids, boom, and blades. There was nothing wrong with the belt. I need someone to go over my heli and make sure it is safe to fly.
Thanks
Sam

If your boom loosened up it would make your tail control linkage long which would push the control arm to one side making your tail impossible to control. Could that have happened?Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

The fbl sensor is secure. The only cause that I can think of right now is the tail link coming off.Sam

Since I needed to order new blade grips for the 500 DFC head, I went and ordered a 600 DFC head as well, I guess I will be the "One" that finds out if it will boom strike first then the rest can make up there own minds if they want to do it.

I also got my charger today only to find out that my 40 amp power supply will not keep the voltage high enough when under that heavy of a load to keep the charger from shutting off. I hope it works off the car battery for the full 10 amps per side otherwise it defeats the purpose.

Ah man, that sucks Steve, Aaron is the one who said NO to the DFC head, I don't know what he saw or heard but I think it has to do with the groove in the blade grip we were talking about. The latest design has it. The last I knew was that the DFC head was a lot like that of the Gobbler!Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

Really, did Chris bite the bullet? He said he wanted a 90.

I guess I'll believe it when I see a sold remark on that add!

Steve, what charger do you have? Maybe I can help figure out the power supply that you may need.
