I don't know Bill, its either tape or tie wire! LOL But it is a legitimate question, not knowing much about gassers, aren't they a little rougher running than a nitro? Or have they smoothed them out and given them more power now days? Like maybe put a turbo charger on em!

I know it is a bit early in the season but is there still a plan to do a bulk fuel order?

Its not early anymore Brian, I think Tom is going to take orders. You're welcome Tom!
Not sure about that Brian, but he's the guy to ask.

Actually Sonny I'm not 100% positive but I don't think Tom will be putting in a fuel order this year. I think you guys are on your own this year.

The motors are very smooth if you get the modified ones from BH Hanson or TRM.(Toxic Al) If you get a stock motor the tolerances are not very good. You could get lucky and get a smooth one or a really rough one. Pay the extra money and get one from TRM, Bill. I feel they are just as smooth as a nitro now. Just too heavy for me. I couldn't pull the trigger on one not ever flying one. Plus its still in a Trex and I hate Align.

Yep Chris I wasn't exactly sure about that. A trip to the weak signals show might be in store for those needing fuel.
On other news! Gentleman start your engines! I saw 2 robins in my front yard!

Dang, had a FBL head for the 600 all lined up, sent the payment only to get a refund in about 1/2 hour. Guy realized he needed parts off it for the DFC upgrade.

Saw a couple Robins myself today. Was just talking with the wife and I got the Okay to build a R/C trailer. 6x10 sounds like a good size to me(oh gee I have a 6x10 trailer I built a couple years ago.) Now I'll just have to enclose it. Wire it for 110 and figure work benches and bunks. Bunks? Yeah, no tent camping at Detroit or IRCHA!!!!

Rough it and buy the 600 seeing how you are already trying to buying parts for it.

Aaron and Bill, are you guys going to be at the field tommorrow? A guy I know(Dustin) has his heli ready to maidan. Only thing is he put a Beastx on it and I know nothing about them. He put it on a brand new Beam 4. I would like one of you to check over his settings and help set his gains and perameters.

But if I don't have everything ready to be FBL I might fly it with that other stuff on it. I don't want that to happen.

Sam bring your heli out tomorrow if you can. Might be a little windy but wee have FBL machines. They can handle the wind much better then the boat oars that are attached between the main blades the old folks use.
